Training the crew in use of the Markusnet is imperative and should be repeated at least every four months. New recruits must likewise be tought how to use and pack the Markusnet, through practical exercises and with all available aids. The MS Markusnet is ideal for mob rescue teamwork training and to indtroduce safe methods to operate in-water rescue operations in hazardouse weather and sea  conditions.

Approval, Quality and Inspection requirements

The MS Markusnet is manufactured in accordance with SOLAS, Torremolinos and EC requirements for lifesaving appliances intended for man overboard recovery. It is Lloyd's Register type approved for use on all vessels and offshore installations and to meet requirements for man overboard rescue net in national regulations in Iceland. All versions are manufactured at the same quality standard, based on the same production description, quality description and user instruction

Regular on board drills and inspection are required

 

The use of the product is on the user's sole responsibility.

The Markusnet used for training shall be marked clearly as training equipment.

A thorough inspection at a service station approved by the manufacturer is required within the 5 years anniversary from date of purchase.
